Station Eight: Math Wheels
Skill/Content Objective:
develop fluency
Materials:
construction paper
markers
pre-cut circles(one large, one small)
brass fastner
Description:
Students will fasten the three pieces of the math wheel together.
Students will write the corresponding factors on the wheels (based on which fact familiy their wheel is for)
Once completed students can work in pairs practicing their math facts.
Assessments:
These math wheels are a great way for struggling students to review their multiplication facts. Instead of having each student in the class make one for all the times tables; I would have students use them for the ones they struggle with. The teacher could have the students write a few of their responses on white boards.
