Station Three: Ring the Bottle
Skill Content/ Objectives:
Develop fluency
Understand that their are relationships between multiplication facts
Materials
recording sheet (provided below)
bottles w/tops
rings (for tossing)
shoebox
Description/Differentiation:
Students can practice their multiplcation facts with this interactive game.
Label the bottle tops with different multiples.
Place them in a shoe box to keep them steady.
Have students toss the ring on to the different bottles.
You can have students think of factors of each multiple, or you can label your bottles with factors and have students multiply them together. Highest number is the winner!

Assessment:
The recording sheet should be graded for accuracy. This sheet can also be used as an exit slip to allow the students to move to the next activity. While students are engaged in this activity the teacher should look and listen for math words. The I Can sheet uses maths terms such as factors; students may need a review of this vocabulary.
